RIP David Lynch

He’s in that great Blue Lodge in the sky. Or the Red Lodge. I don’t know. Who fully understands “Twin Peaks” anyway? I’m going to consider the flags at half-staff for Lynch, not Carter.

Lynch’s BLUE VELVET was the first movie I saw at home on videocassette. I recall my dad renting it (I was young, 11 or 12?) and he insisted I watch it because, as he put it, “This is supposed to be some f–ked up, melted shit, Kip…”
