This is Brannagh doing the Act 3 Scene 1 “to be or not to be” soliloquy from Hamlet. There’s someone hidden behind the mirror, I think (it’s a two-way mirror). Brannagh is usually an unbelievable ham but he actually tones it down a little for this one, so it’s not that bad:

I *believe* that Polonius is hiding behind the mirror in this scene (it’s a one-way mirror) and hears the whole thing. Don’t quote me on it, though. This is Brannagh’s Hamlet, from the ’90s, he’s a bit of a ham, but it’s quite a stunning adaptation — although, note that it is faithful, and thus something like eight hours long (take a break!).
It’s actually a two way mirror. Polonius and King Claudius are behind the mirror
Claudius is behind it as well? I thought it was just Polonius, and he runs off and tells Claudius.
