		<description>I agree with that statement. But I would not go so far as to say they &quot;cling&quot; to them. Would it be different if Obama said &quot;turn&quot; to guns and religion? I think it would have. You could also say that blacks &quot;cling to religion&quot; -- that would drip of the kind of condenscion Obama was using, perhaps. And I don&#039;t think THAT statement is correct (blacks clinging to religion and, oh, let&#039;s say, gangsta rap, as well, throw that in there, I don&#039;t think blacks &quot;cling to gangsta rap&quot;).&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;McCain would also have been *pilloried* over a comment like the one you posted, whereas I think Obama truly has &quot;sinned&quot; here, so to speak, against the people of small-town PA. Remember who Obama was talking to when this happened, too -- limousine liberals in California.</description>
